The No. 43 SMU women's tennis team opens a four-match home stand to close out the dual regular season, hosting No. 19 UCF on Friday at 5 p.m., followed by a Senior Day match against TCU on Sunday at 1 p.m.
 
Juniors Jackie Nylander and Hadley Doyle head up the Mustangs' efforts in dual doubles, posting an 8-3 record. The duo has won four of its last five matches on court one for SMU, good for the 71st spot in the ITA National Doubles Rankings. Nylander and graduate senior Claudia Bartolome also fall in at No. 84 in the doubles rankings with a 4-4 record.
 
The Mustangs (11-7) are led in singles by graduate senior Lexi Keberle, who enters Friday's match with an 11-3 record, having won seven-consecutive completed matches on line one. Keberle, most recently going unfinished against Kansas' 63rd- ranked Maria Titova, has not lost a singles match since Feb. 19 against Mississippi State.
 
UCF
The No. 19 UCF Knights open Friday's competition seeking their sixth-consecutive team win, their last loss occurring on March 6 against No. 5 Texas.
 
No. 84 Marie Mattel has won three-straight singles contests, including a three-set win on court four against No. 9 Oklahoma State. Nandini Sharma has won seven-straight, building an 11-3 dual singles record which includes a 9-2 tally on court six. Sophia Biolay holds a 7-3 record which includes five consecutive wins, and a 5-1 record on court five.
 
In doubles play, 29th-ranked Mattel/Evgeniya Levashova are 6-2 on court one for UCF, carrying a five-match win streak which includes a win over No. 1 Baylor pairing Mel Krywoj/Alicia Herrero. The duo have not lost since hosting No. 2 Oklahoma on Feb. 25.
 
SMU holds an 8-7 advantage in the all-time series against UCF.
 
TCU
With a Saturday match in Fort Worth against Prairie View A&M prior to Sunday's contest, the Horned Frogs look to snap a three-match skid, with their last win a 4-2 decision against West Virginia.
 
The court two pairing of Mercedes Aristegui and Isabel Pascual seek their fourth-consecutive win, winning their court in matches against No. 11 Oklahoma State, No. 3 Oklahoma, and West Virginia.
 
The Mustangs look to gain ground on a 5-17 all-time record against TCU, and its first back-to-back wins against the Horned Frogs since the 2011 season. SMU defeated TCU in its last meeting, 4-3, on Apr. 2 last spring.
 
Last Time Out
The No. 39 SMU women's tennis team fell 4-2 to No. 25 Kansas on March 27 at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.
 
The Mustangs won their fourth-consecutive doubles point off wins for Doyle/Nylander and Keberle/Mavor. Doyle/Nylander's 6-3 victory over Kansas' 54th-ranked Maria Titova/Makia Ngounoue was their third-straight, and improving to 6-1 in dual doubles.
 
On court six, Nicole Petchey improved her dual singles record to 8-6, downing her Kansas opponent 6-2, 6-2. Petchey has won four of her last five contests, three of which have been against ITA-ranked teams.
