DALLAS- SMU men's tennis is set to host Denver for the first Match of the Month of the 2023 season at Styslinger/ Altec Tennis Complex indoor courts Saturday at 12:00 p.m.

SMU and Denver have only met once in the last 15 years. At the last meet up on February 26, 2006, the Mustangs took the match 7-0.

"Looking forward to a great match. Denver is a very good team and has really dominated the Summit conference," said head coach Grant Chen. "Denver is well coached, and we are prepared for a battle tomorrow. The team had a great season opener and is looking to build off it."

The Mustangs are coming off their dominate season opener with a pair of 7-0 victories and are looking to continue their current home win streak of seven matches.

In celebration of the Match of the Month, free t-shirts will be given to the first 100 fans in attendance.

Remaining Match of the Month of the 2023 season include Central Florida on March 12th, Tulsa on March 19th, Baylor on March 23rd and UT Dallas on April 9th for Senior Night.
