Raleigh, N.C. (SMU) — Junior Drew Morris won her second set of singles play against No. 27 Abigail Rencheli as SMU traveled to No. 9 NC State on Monday.

This was the Mustangs' second competition of the spring and second consecutive ranked contest against a top 25 opponent.

Morris went on to lose the match after losing 1-0 in the third set against Rencheli. 

SMU competed against nine players ranked by ITA, including eight within the top 100.

The Mustangs will be hosting No. 17 Vanderbilt in their first home match of the spring season on Jan. 21. First serve is set for 11 a.m. at the Styslinger / Altec Tennis Complex.
