FORT WORTH, Texas (SMU) – It was a productive performance for SMU women's tennis at the ITA Texas Regional tournament hosted by TCU this weekend as they collected 19 wins, highlighted by graduate student Arianna Stavropoulos and freshman June Bjork reaching the quarterfinals of the doubles draw.
 
In singles action, sophomores Millie Skelton and Caroline McGinley both qualified for the main draw, winning their two matches in the pre-qualifying draw. Stavropoulos and Morris advanced past the first two rounds, before falling in the round of 16.
 
In doubles, all of SMU's competing pairings advanced through the first two rounds to compete in the round of 16.
 
Next, SMU women's tennis is back in Fort Worth, Texas, to compete in the TCU Invitational on Oct. 31-Nov. 3.
