DALLAS (SMU) – Head Coach Sam Erger and the SMU Volleyball program have announced the signing of Hannah Beauford, Kennedi Rogers,  Amelia Hanson, Maggie Croft, Sarah Frazee, to the 2025 recruiting class.

Beauford and Rogers are both from Texas while Hanson hails from Colorado. All three prospects will be on campus starting in the spring of 2025.

Hannah Beauford | Setter | 5-11 | Prosper, Texas | Prosper High School
• Ranked the 21st best player in Texas and 4th best Setter by Prep Dig Texas
• Ranked #70 in the Top-150 National Player Rankings by PrepVolleyball.com
• Named one of Texas High School Volleyball's Top Athletes in 2025 by Lone Star Preps
• Texas Standout at USAV Nationals according to PrepDig.com
• Club All Americans Third Team by PrepVolleyball.com
• USA Volleyball All Star Championships: North Texas Region Team
• Named Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) 6A All-State and All-Star Team Selection
• Texas UIL State Championship Semi-Finalist with Prosper High School, finished with 51 Assists vs. Grand Oaks in the semifinal match
• Represented the North Texas Region in the USA Volleyball All Star Championship and received All Tournament Team Honors for U17 as a junior
• Named a District 5-6A 1st Team All-District and Academic All-District her sophomore season
• A USAV Nationals 15 Open All Tournament Team member her sophomore campaign after a Third Place finish
• Daughter of Heather and Charles Beauford
• Plans to major in Business at SMU
 
Kennedi Rogers | Outside Hitter | 5-10 | Missouri City, Texas | Ridge Point High School
• Named 2025 AVCA Phenom Top 8 Outside Hitter for the state of Texas and a First Team All-District performer
• Ranked a Top-150 Prospect according to PrepVolleyball.com and a Top-15 prospect by PrepDig.com
• A VballRecruiter.com Honorable Mention for the Class of 2025
• Named District Most Valuable Player during her junior season and broke her high school's single season aces record that same season
• USA Volleyball All Star Championships: North Texas Region Team
• Daughter of Kisha and Shaun Rogers
• Plans to major in Business at SMU
 
Amelia Hansen | Outside Hitter | 6-0 | Monument, Colorado | Palmer Ridge High School
• State champion and an All-State performer during her junior
• First Team All-Conference player during both her junior and senior years
• Collected over 1,000 career kills in her high school career
• Earned academic and athletic letters all four years
• In club, won the 2023 USA Volleyball National Championships and double qualified for the open division
• Daughter of Maria and Donald Hansen
• Plans to major in Business at SMU

Sarah Frazee | Libero/DS | 5-6 | Gulf Breeze, Florida | Gulf Breeze High School
• GBHS Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year her junior and senior year
• Finished high school career with 1022 digs and set high schools single-season digs record twice
• Pensacola News Journal Defensive Player of the Year and All-Area First Team as a junior
• Pensacola News Journal Newcomer of the Year and All-Area Second Team as a sophomore 
• American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Phenom List Nominee her sophomore season
• State Runner-Up in her final season 2024, 12th grade Regional Champion, 10th grade District Champion, and 10th grade Regional Runner-Up
• Also played Beach Volleyball where she was a District Champion her sophomore campaign
• Played club at West Florida Waves Volleyball Club where she was a Gulf Coast Region Champion 16U, USA Volleyball Nationals Qualifier 16U, Gulf Coast Region Champion 15U, and a USA Volleyball Nationals Qualifier 15U
• Daughter of Amanda and Jason Frazee
• Plans to major in Business/Management

Maggie Croft | Middle Blocker | 5-10 | Corpus Christi, Texas | Flour Bluff High School
• 3x All-South Texas MVP, 4x MVP of the District, and 4x Academic All-District
• 2024 State Champion, MVP of 5A Div. 1 UIL State Championship Game, THSCA Academic All-State
