FULL CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (SMU) – [RV] SMU Men's Swimming and Diving took home the grand title on Saturday, capturing the Atlantic Sun Championship, giving the Mustangs their 45th conference title as a program, fourth straight under head coach Greg Rhodenbaugh.

Notable Saturday Results
1650 Free
The Mustangs opened the final night with a commanding win from Hoagland (14:54.77), setting a new meet record for the event. Teammates Forrest (15:17.61) and Hunter Lund (15:25.27) followed to make it 1-2-3 finish for SMU.
 
100 Free
Butler posted a B standard time of 43.22 to take bronze.
 
200 Back
Fields picked up his first gold medal of the championship with a time of 1:43.79, followed by Culver (1:43.93) and Easton (1:43.95).
 
200 Breast
Mikelsons locked up the gold to complete the sweep in the breaststroke events with a time of 1:54.90, the fourth fastest in school history.
 
400 Free Relay
The A relay team of Kovac, Butler, Mykkanen and Sungail closed out the championship in style, setting a new school/conference/meet record with a time of 2:50.71.
