DALLAS (SMU) – Four SMU Men's Soccer student-athletes were named to the CSC Academic All-District Team as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
 
Stephan Soghomonian, Mukisa Emmanuel, Villads Landsperg and Alex Salvo were the Mustangs named to the list.  The 2025 Academic All-District Team is selected by the College Sports Communicators and recognizes the nation's top student athletes for their combined academic and athletic achievements.

A sophomore from Santa Clarita, California, Soghomonian boasts a 3.909 GPA while studying Finance. He led the Mustangs this season with 13 goals and including two hat tricks. He scored the Mustangs' winning goal in their ACC tournament championship match to win SMU's first ACC Championship title.

Emmanuel holds a 3.80 GPA in the Sport Management major with a minor in Business. The junior from Mbale, Uganda, was the Mustangs' third leading scorer of the season with six goals while also making two assists, scored in the Mustangs' ACC Championship semifinal match against Syracuse.

A native of Copenhagen, Denmark, Landsperg maintains a 3.66 GPA while pursuing his bachelor's degree in Economics. He clocked the most minutes for SMU this past season with 1785 minutes in 20 matches and was part of SMU's defense that contained opponents to an average of only nine shot attempts per game, limiting five teams (Boston College, Cal, LMU, Oral Roberts and Virginia).

Salvo boasts a 3.60 GPA while studying Mechanical Engineering with minors in Math and Business. The redshirt junior from Madrid, Spain, captained the Mustangs' team to its first ACC Championship title and was the anchor for SMU's midfield.
