GREENSBORO, N.C. (SMU) – Four Mustangs advanced to finals and four recorded program all-time top performances as the SMU men's swimming & diving team concluded day three of the ACC Championships on Thursday at Greensboro Aquatics Center.

Following three days of competition, the Ponies sit in 10th place with an accumulated score of 239.

Notable Performances
400 IM
During finals,
Cotton Fields earned a 16th-place finish with a time of 3:47.61.
Jack Hoagland touched the wall in 3:44.97 to finish second in the C final and place 18th overall.

Prelims saw Fields place 13th with a mark of 3:44.24 to punch his ticket into the consolation final. Hoagland earned a spot in the C final with a 3:46.23 results in the morning session.
Angus Corbeau also swam in the event, touching the wall in 3:48.63.

Leading the Mustangs in prelims was
Russell Exum who swam a 46.87.
Nico Sobenes also competed in the event, improving his time at fifth on SMU's top performances list to 46.96.

200 Free
In the final event of the day,
Harold Lockhart placed third in the C final with a time of 1:33.93, just .01 seconds ahead of his PR during the prelims.
Sage Sungail touched the wall in 1:34.43 to place 21st overall.

Lockhart led SMU into finals with a 1:33.94 time. Right behind him was Sungail with a 1:34.08 result, with
Jack Berube missing the cut by just .44 seconds with a time of 1:34.85. All three of those times earned or improved the trio of Mustangs' spots on the SMU All-Time Top Performer's List to second, fifth and eighth.
