IOWA CITY, Iowa (SMU) – SMU freshman diver
Luke Sitz has earned a spot on 3-meter at the NCAA Championships on Tuesday at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships at Campus Recreation and Wellness Center on the campus of the University of Iowa.

This is the second event Sitz has qualified in after he punched his ticket on 1-meter on Monday.

The freshman posted a cumulative final score of 788.80 on 12 dives during prelims and finals to place first in the event. After qualifying on 1-meter, he only needed a top-12 placement to clinch a spot in the event at the NCAA Championships later this month.

John Dymond concluded his action in Iowa City on Tuesday, posting a score of 292.75 on 3-meter to place 19th, just one spot away from qualifying for finals.

The 2025 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships are set for March 26-29 in Federal Way, Washington. A full list of swimming qualifiers for the event will be announced on Wednesday.
