AUSTIN, Texas (SMU) - SMU rowing raced twice in a weather-shortened day one of the Longhorn Invitational at Lake Walter E. Long.
 
SMU finished third in the 2v4 with a time of 8:44.981 behind the boats of Texas and Oklahoma. In the Varsity Four, Mustangs finished second behind top ranked Texas with a time of 7:53.154.
 
Lightning pushed back the start of competition. Storms returned later and forced the meet to cancel the rest of Friday's racing.  
 
Racing will begin for the Mustang on Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
