NORMAN, Okla. (SMU) – SMU men's golf entered the top 25 of the Bushnell/Golfweek DI Coaches Poll. The Mustangs debuted with the 25^th spot in the rankings.
 
The Mustangs are fresh off a quarterfinal appearance at the ACC Championship. They finished in fifth in stroke play and fell 3-1 in the quarterfinals of match play. They are ranked No. 24 in the Scoreboard rankings presented by Clippd. The Mustangs are headed to the NCAA Auburn Regional May 12-14 in Alabama.
 
Zachary Kingsland leads the Mustangs with a 70.73 scoring average and 14 rounds in the 60s. He finished in a tie for third at the ACC Championship. He has two individual titles to his name this season. Will Sides is second with a 70.93 average. He won the title at the Stephens Cup. He leads the team with 20 rounds of par or better and has top 10 showing his last two appearances. Enrique Dimayuga is third on the team with a 71.10 scoring average and is second on the team with 10 rounds in the 60s.
 
The Mustangs are set to make the trip to Alabama for the NCAA Regional. A top five spot at the Regional will earn the Mustangs back-to-back trips to the NCAA Championship.
