DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Men's Swimming and Diving claimed a dominant victory over the Oklahoma Christian Eagles on Saturday at the Robson and Lindley Aquatics Center.

200 Medley Relay
SMU's quartet of Thad Austin, Ben Longeway, Jack Moore and Asher Good won the first event of the day with a time of 1:28.74.
Jack Berube, Trey Clervi, Nico Sobenes and Able Temiz took second place by clocking 1:29.20 while Andy Baklanov, Ewan Lonergan, Cameron Thompson and Benjamin Chateigner clocked 1:30.38 to place third.
200 Free
Freshman Francis Brennan nabbed a win in the 200 free, recording a time of 1:34.55.
Harold Lockhart placed second after touching the wall in 1:37.63. Posting a time of 1:38.44, freshman George Gonzalez secured the podium sweep for the Mustangs. In an exhibition, freshman Aidan Arie threw down a time of 1:39.82.
100 Back
Freshman Thad Austin claimed victory in the 100 back after finishing in 47.90.
Nico Sobenes secured second with a time of 51.16.
100 Breast
Freshman Trey Clervi earned his first event win as a Mustang after recording a 54.19 in the 100 breast.
Ben Longeway touched the wall in 55.77 to finish second. Andy Baklanov nabbed third by posting a time of 56.02. In exhibitions, Joe Umhofer and Francis Brennan finished in 56.43 and 57.25, respectively. Also in exhibitions, Ewan Lonergan threw down a time of 57.41, Aubrey Jaya recorded a time of 57.44 and George Gonzalez earned a time of 59.53.
200 Fly
With a time of 1:48.42, freshman Zach Power claimed the win in the 200 fly.
Senior Ryan Peckham placed second after touching the wall in 1:49.33.
50 Free
Senior Sage Sungail won the 50 free by throwing down a time of 19.98.
Harold Lockhart followed closely behind with a time of 20.15, claiming second place. Benjamin Chateigner clenched the podium sweep for SMU after recording a time of 20.33. In exhibitions, Jack Berube posted a 20.71 and Jack Moore finished in 20.77. Cameron Thompson and Jack Forrest also competed in exhibitions, touching the wall in 21.34 and 21.35, respectively. Mark Van Eybergen finished his exhibition in 21.53 and in his first meet as a Mustang, Able Temiz recorded an exhibition time of 21.74.
100 Free
Sophomore Benjamin Chateigner nabbed first in the 100 free with a time of 43.76.
Placing second, George Gonzalez posted a time of 43.96. Asher Good claimed the last spot on the podium after touching the wall in 44.90. Thad Austin finished with an exhibition time of 46.16. Newcomer Able Temiz swam in an exhibition and posted a time of 46.90. Also in an exhibition, Cameron Thompson threw down a time of 47.62.
200 Back
Freshman Andy Baklanov won the 200 back after recording a time of 1:42.90.
Jack Berube finished second by touching the wall in 1:45.20.
200 Breast
Joe Umhofer recorded the fastest time in the 200 breast exhibition, posting a 1:59.63.
Trey Clervi threw down an exhibition time of 2:00.40 while Ewan Lonergan finished in 2:03.98.
500 Free
Leonardo Pelaez finished first in the 500 free, recording an exhibition time of 4:23.23.
Captain Jack Forrest touched the wall in 4:25.29 while Aubrey Jaya posted a time of 4:25.56. Mark Van Eybergen clocked an exhibition time of 4:25.80.
100 Fly
In an exhibition, Sage Sungail finished first with a time of 48.22.
Nico Sobenes posted an exhibition time of 49.17 while Zach Power recorded a 49.62. Aidan Arie finished the exhibition in 49.80 and Ryan Peckham threw down a time of 50.90.
200 IM
Jack Moore touched the wall first in the 200 IM after clocking an exhibition time of 1:49.76.
Asher Good nabbed the second-fastest time in the exhibition with a time of 1:51.00. Ben Longeway and Leonardo Pelaez also competed in the exhibition, posting times of 1:51.53 and 1:53.72, respectively.
200 Free Relay
All in exhibitions, the Mustangs recorded the three fastest times in the 200 free relay. The squad of George Gonzalez, Francis Brennan, Jack Forest and Jack Berube touched the wall in 1:21.19 to finish first.
Benjamin Chateigner, Sage Sungail, Thad Austin and Cameron Thompson followed closely behind with a time of 1:21.32. The relay team of Aidan Arie, Harold Lockhart, Aubrey Jaya and Able Temiz threw down a time of 1:22.98.

The SMU diving team will compete in the Tennessee Diving Invite on Jan. 7-9 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The entire team will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. to face No. 14 LSU on the road.
