Results 

WACO, Texas (SMU) -- The sprint squad competed in Waco at the MJ Invitational this weekend. The team was able to get high level reps in against a competitive field with just one more regular season meet on the schedule. 

On Friday, Ariana Sutton ran 24.44 and Jasmine Franklin ran 24.56 in the 200. Kirin Chacchia ran the 400-meter hurdles in 57.39 -- just off her best time, which is the program record. 

The meet continued Saturday with Nea Sanders qualifying for the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.29 for fourth place in the prelims. She returned for finals and moved into third with 13.17 -- also very close to her personal best. 

Franklin ran the 100 and came away with a time of 11.81. 

The 4x400 completed the meet for the Mustangs. The relay made up of Magnolia Crissup, Chacchia, Sanders, and Sutton ran 3:49.26. 

The Mustangs will stay at home next weekend for the SMU Invitational.
