CHARLOTTE, N.C. (ACC/SMU) – SMU Women's Basketball will host Georgia on Wednesday, Dec. 2, as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge, ESPN announced on Friday. The SEC/ACC Challenge will take place Dec. 2-3 with games across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ACC Network and SEC Network.
The Mustangs will look to pick up their second consecutive SEC/ACC Challenge victory, as SMU defeated Arkansas 78-63 inside Moody Coliseum last season.

Kinsea Grimes (Coastal Carolina), CAA Defensive Player of the Year
Grace Ezebilo (Charleston), Pitt transfer
Theresa Hagans Jr., who earned 2025-26 ACC All-Freshman Team honors, and French standout forward
Adja Kane.
SMU also welcomed back star
Zahra King, who delivered one of the most dominant performances in all of college basketball last season with a remarkable 40-point performance in a win over Pitt.
