FRISCO, Texas (WGCA/SMU) – Two SMU women's golf athletes earned All-American Scholar honors, announced Monday by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
Recent graduate Emily Odwin and rising senior Yoonjeong Huh were recognized by the association. Odwin collected honors for the third time in her college career.
To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
Odwin and Huh played significant roles in the Mustangs' NCAA Regional Championship title and a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
