FRISCO, Texas (SMU) -Â SMU Men's Golf will start the season a little north of Dallas in Frisco, Texas for The Jackson T. Stephens Cup Monday, Sept. 14-15.

The team will complete 54 holes in two days, 36 holes on day one and the final round at the PGA Frisco East Course on day two.

SMU's lineup includes Ben Steinmann, Gabe Post, Matthew Foster, Alex Huang and Morgan Slaton. Steinmann is coming off an incredible freshman campaign, earning an individual appearance at the NCAA Bryan Regional and a first-place finish at the Desimone Invitational.Â

Transfers Alex Huang and Morgan Slaton are getting their first appearances since joining the Mustangs. Slaton is coming off a season with three top-ten finishes with an average of 71.60 in 30 rounds.Â

Huang's secured five top-20 finishes a season ago, including a third-place effort. The Plano native averaged 71.40 in 33 rounds of play.
