DALLAS (SMU) — No. 3 SMU Men's Soccer drew Kansas City 1-1 at Washburne Stadium on Friday.
 
In a tight match where the Mustangs made 10 shots to the Roos' 12, the scoreline remained 0-0 until the 86th minute. Two goals were scored in the final four minutes of the match.
 
SMU's goal came from Stephan Soghomonian, who scored his second goal of the season, while Alex Salvo assisted Soghomonian's goal to record his second assist for SMU. Goalkeeper Jonathan Evans had a season high of four saves.

Kansas City's Mark Ramarola equalized the scoreline at 1-1 in the 90th minute, and the match ended in a tie.
