•Islander Invite '21 Doubles Champion

2023-24 (RS-Sr.): Went 5-5 overall in singles, 3-4 dual...2-0 at No. 3 singles, 1-3 at No. 4 singles, 0-1 at No. 5 singles...Played doubles with partners Maks Silagy, Kyle Sillman, Huntley Allen, Alex Stafford and Alex Yang...Posted 14-12 overall doubles record, 11-9 dual...Ranked No. 60 by ITA with Allen in final fall doubles poll...Competed with Allen in doubles competition in Dallas Open's College Night. AWARDS: CSC Academic All-District.

2022-2023 (RS Jr.): Played in 28 singles matches with a 12-16 overall record...9-13 dual record...Went 13-14 in doubles matches with five partners... Earned back-to-back match-clinchers in the AAC Championship over Tulsa and Memphis to give the Mustangs a chance to compete for a second title... Went 5-2 with doubles partner Antonio Muniz-Hidalgo including a 7-5 victory on line No. 3 against Stefan Hampe and Ezequiel Santalla of Tulsa to clinch the doubles point... Competed in three fall tournaments... Went 2-1 at the Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge.

2021-2022 (RS So.):  15-11 overall singles record, 9-6 dual. Won at line No. 5 in AAC championship victory over Memphis, 6-4, 6-3 over Pau Fanlo... 24-7 overall doubles record, 18-4 dual. Went on eight match winning streak with main partner, Huntley Allen, during the spring season... Pre-season No. 38 in ITA Doubles Ranking with Allen...  Reached ITA Regionals Doubles Rnd of 16 with Allen... Captured Islander Invite Doubles championships with partner Caleb Chakravarthi (defeating Ata/Yamanaka TAMUCC 8-6, Beamish/Shipp 6-3, Caffarena/Alban 7-6(6)... Reached doubles finals of Southern California Intercollegiates with Allen, falling 8-6 to Neos/Pankin (Portland)... AAC All-Academic Team.

2020-2021 (RS Fr.): Impact player for SMU playing 24 singles matches and 20 doubles matches... went undefeated going 7-0 with partner Huntley Allen at No. 3, including 3-0 in conference play... went undefeated going 4-0 with partner Jan-SImon Vrbsky at No. 2, including 3-0 in conference play... def Francisco Bastias (Utah) at No.5... def Conrad Russell (Rice) at No.6... def Callum Gale (Tulsa) at No.6 2-6,6-4,6-2 to help upset Tulsa on April 11... def Fynn Fuenkler (Tulane) 6-1,6-4 in conference tournament quarterfinals... Did not compete in Fall '20 collegiate tournaments due to Covid-19 restrictions. 

2019-2020 (Fr.): Entered SMU in January '20.... redshirted the season.

PREP: Trained at Team G academy in Calabasas, California under coach Gerald Matthews... Southern California Sectional Championships singles champion Boy 14 & under division. Blue Chip recruit according to TRN.net... Top-10 sectional ranking in USTA Southern California... competed in USTA Zone Team Championships... competed in USTA Winter National Championships... USTA Boy's National Championships in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2017, 2018... seeded 27 in 2018 doubles field losing in 3rd round to Boyer/Grant partnering with M.Giddens... went 2-2 in 2018 Kalamazoo... went 3-2 singles in 2017 USTA Boys Championships... Competed in ITF in Belgium... won doubles crown ITF in Germany... graduated from Gorman High School in three years.

PERSONAL: One of the top recruits in California. Parents are Carson and Sandra Steinhausen... started playing tennis at the age of 4 and began competition at age of 6... hobbies outside of tennis include music, golf and avid shoe collector.
