Biography
2015-16 (Jr.): Singles: Posted a 3-4 mark with two of the three wins coming in the spring.
Doubles: Went 4-1 overall in doubles play, going 2-0 with Tony Russell, and 2-1 with Marcus Knutzon.
2014-15 (So.): Singles: Went 9-4 overall, with an 8-1 record in the spring... Won his first eight singles matches in the spring, spending time at positions 3-6... Clinched seven of his eight dual match victories in straight sets...
Doubles: Held a 4-1 overall record, including a 3-0 mark in the spring.
2013-14 (Fr.): Singles: Ended the season with a 10-12 overall record, including six wins in dual matches... Was undefeated over four matches from March 2 to March 16... Went 4-4 in the fall, winning three straight matches from Sept. 20-Oct. 1... Doubles: Picked up three total wins in doubles, spending time paired with Tony Russell, Eduardo Razzeto, Mischa Nowicki and Arkidjas Slobodkins... Went 2-2 in the fall, winning twice while paired with Eduardo Razzeto at the Wyndham Invitational. Prep: Was the No. 1 ranked high school tennis player in the state of Arkansas... Led his team to three state championships, including taking individual crowns in his freshman and senior seasons... Won ATA Most Outstanding Tennis Player honors in 2012 and won the ATA Sportsmanship Award in 2009... Was ranked as high as No. 127 in the nation as a senior... Began playing international tournaments at age 16 and achieved his first international ranking by age 17... Was a member of the National Honor Society, Hispanic Honor Society, National Beta Club and was an AP Scholar with honor.
