DALLAS, TEXAS -- The SMU Mustangs held a one hour walk through on Friday afternoon in preparation for Saturday's scrimmage at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

"The scrimmage will be a walk through for next Saturday's game," said SMU head coach Phil Bennett. "We will treat it like a shorter game. We'll have coaches up in the box, make the condition as game-like as possible. We just won't go all the way down (tackling)."

SMU will practice Saturday morning, a workout that will focus on special teams. The scrimmage will start at 7:00 p.m. in ford Stadium.

The Mustangs open the season a week from Saturday against Navy at 7:00 p.m.
