Tulsa, Okla. - The SMU men's soccer team was shut out by second-ranked New Mexico, 2-0, Friday evening in day one of the Microtel Inn & Suites/Golden Hurricane Classic in Tulsa, Okla. With the loss, SMU falls to 2-4-1 while the Lobos remain undefeated this season with a 7-0-0 record.

New Mexico's Chris Wright scored both Lobo goals, which were unassisted. The first came late in the first half (41:00 mark) and at the 52:06 mark.

The Mustangs continue to struggle in scoring goals, having been outscored, 16-7, so far this season. The loss was also the second time this season SMU failed to score a single goal.

SMU's opponent in Sunday's contest is ninth-ranked Creighton. Kick-off is slated for 11:00 a.m.
