Mustangs Tied For Second At Central Invite

Parrish, Fla. (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team stands in a three-way tie for second following two rounds of play at the Central District Invitational at the 6,099-yard, par-72 River Wilderness Golf Club.
SMU is tied for second with Ohio State and Missouri at 33-over 609 following team rounds of 298 and 311 and trails leader Baylor (600) by nine strokes.
Sophomore Lacey Jones leads SMU, standing alone in second individually at 1-over 145 (72-73). She trails leader Alice Kim of Northwestern (144) by one shot.
Laura Cross is tied for 24th at 10-over 154, while freshman Kate Ackerson is tied for 29th at 11-over 155. Jennifer Ackerson stands in 35th at 12-over 156 while Kristina Rothengatter is tied for 52nd at 15-over 159.
