Windermere, Fla. (SMU) - Competing against a field that included six of the top 10 teams in the country, the SMU men's golf team finished in 13th place at the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday. SMU finished the 56 holes at the Isleworth Golf and Country Club at 890, while No. 5 Georgia bettered runner-up and 29th-ranked Clemson by 19 strokes to win the event at 841.

James Minahan's final round 75 saw him finish 20th at 217, while reigning C-USA Golfer of the Week Ben Tewes' 77 saw him slip to 33rd at 221. Draegen Majors had the best final round for SMU, carding a 73 to finish at 224 in 56th place. Kelly Kraft's 228 had him 68th, while Arwed Fischer's 235 was good for 81st. Individual medalist honors went to Georgia's Harris English at 205.
