Sugar Grove, Ill. (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team wrapped up the 2007 NCAA Central Regional at Rich Harvest Farms with a final-round 322 to finish 23rd at 945.

Individually, Scott Barton (80-75-77) and Colt Knost (83-75-77) were SMU's top finishers, tying for 72nd at 235. Draegen Majors (80-80-79) tied for 95th at 239, while Scott Sikes (74-83-86) was 113th at 243. Frank Wrenn (88-76-88) was 129th at 252.

The 27-team, six-individual NCAA Regional was played over 54 holes, with the low 10 teams and low two individuals not on those teams advancing to the finals. Tulsa won the team event at 895 and Lamar's Dawie Van Der Walt and Wisconsin's Dan Woltman won medalist honors at 1-under 215.
