State Farm To Sponsor DFW Duel

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU Director of Athletics Steve Orsini and State Farm Field Executive Michael Polen announced an exciting three-year sponsorship of the SMU-TCU DFW Duel on Monday, as State Farm will be the presenting sponsor of the annual SMU-TCU football and men's basketball games.

"I think college athletics is all about rivalries," said Orsini. "We're excited to partner with State Farm and are looking forward to extending this rivalry for many years to come."

This year's State Farm DFW Duel - Battle for the Iron Skillet will be held Saturday at Amon Carter Stadium in Ft. Worth. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally on CSTV.
