DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU men's golf team played through windy conditions Monday and stands in seventh place following two rounds of the Baylor Intercollegiate at Royal Oaks Country Club. Freshman James Kwon leads SMU after shooting 74-69 and is tied for fourth.
As a team, SMU carded rounds of 299 and 297 and trails leader Texas A&M by 19 strokes heading into Tuesday's final round. Individually, freshman Marc Sambol's 72-74 has him tied for 12th, while Draegen Majors is tied for 34th at 77-76. Kelly Kraft's uncharacteristic 76-78 has him tied for 39th, while Max Buckley rounds out the SMU team in 43rd at 77-78. Ben Tewes, playing the event as an individual, is 23rd at 70-79.
