FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (SMU) - Mustangs Simone Du Toit and Christina Mueller both qualified for the discus finals at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday, June 11. du Toit qualified fourth with a 53.07m throw, while Mueller was ninth at 51.18m. The top 12 competitors advanced to the finals, which are set for Saturday.

du Toit and Mueller were SMU's lone competitors on Thursday. Silje Fjortoft will compete for SMU on Friday, running the steeplechase final.
