Results 

LUBBOCK, Texas (SMU) -- The Mustangs rewrote the SMU records books throughout their weekend in Lubbock at Texas Tech's Corky Classic. Seven new top-10 times were produced on the track and in the sandpit. 

Personal bests kicked off the meet on Friday in the 60-meter hurdles. In the prelims, Nea Sanders ran a PR of 8.60 -- a new personal best and moving her to third all-time in SMU history. Kirin Chacchia also ran a personal best in prelims of 8.65, then went on to better her time in semi-finals running a time of 8.56. Chacchia now sits second all-time. 

In the long jump, Cleo Martin-Evans jumped 6.18 meters to place fifth in the competition. Lotta Edzards jumped a new personal best mark of 5.93 meters, putting her at eighth all-time. Hedda Kvalvag jumped 5.54 meters for 17th. 

Macey Hilton had a standout meet with personal bests in both the 800 and the 1,000. She placed third in the 800 with a time of 2:08.83 -- moving her to third in the SMU record books. She placed fourth in the 1,000 with 2:48.04. 

Personal bests also came out of the 300. Ariana Sutton ran a time of 38.93 -- a personal best and good for fifth place. Haylie Donovan ran 39.25 for tenth, and Magnolia Crissup ran of PB time of 40.50. 

Edzards added her name to the triple jump top-10 list in day two of the Corky Classic with a jump of 12.26 meters, moving her to eighth on the list. Kvalvag jumped 12.37 meters to place ninth in the competition. 

The distance ponies had a strong showing in the mile. Carolina Correia placed sixth with 4:59.09, and Sophia Keditukei ran 5:00.71 for ninth. Isabel Breaux placed 12th with a PR time of 5:03.24 and ran closely with Paulina Kiscilinska, Ruby Little and Elizabeth Smits who placed 13th through 15th. 

The 4x400 wrapped up an exciting meet with the third best time in SMU history. Donovan, Chacchia, Magnolia Crissup, and Ariana Sutton ran a time of 3:40.32. 

The Mustangs will be back in action next weekend in New Mexico.
