DALLAS, Texas (SMU) -- The Mustangs are back in action this weekend and headed to Boston for the John Thomas Terrier Classic. The meet will take place on Friday. 

Today, the first rankings of the 2026 Indoor Track and Field season were released and placed SMU sixth out of the 40 teams in the South Central Region – a strong first showing in the polls. This weekend provides an opportunity to climb the ranks, specifically within the conference. This is one of three meets remaining before the ACC Indoor Championships.

The meet will begin at 9 am (CST) and be available to stream on FloTrack.
