DIGS CHAMPION:
SMU outside hitter Kathryn Wilkerson surpassed Beth Karasek to become the Mustangs' all-time leader in digs earlier this season. The senior has accumulated 1,465 digs for her career while averaging 3.29 per set during her time on the Hilltop. Not far behind, libero Sidney Stewart has totaled 1,461 digs for her career.
STREAKS AND TRENDS:
The Mustangs have won seven of their last eight matches...Last week outside hitter Jessica Oliver led the Mustangs with 34 kills and a .426 hitting percentage...Against UCF Oliver notched a season-high 24 kills...SMU leads opponents in overall matches won, 62-32, this season...The Ponies are 5-1 this season in five-set matches.
LAST WEEK:
Behind an outstanding performance from Jessica Oliver, the SMU volleyball team defeated the UCF Knights in five sets (25-21, 19-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-10) on Friday night at Moody Coliseum. On Sunday, the Mustangs beat UTEP in straight sets (25-22, 25-15, 25-23).
