AUSTIN (SMU) - The Mustang track & field team had three top-ten finishes, including two events of top-five, Saturday on the final day of the Texas Relays held at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the University of Texas Campus.

Simone Du Toit continued her streak of impressive performances going, finishing fifth in the shot put with a throw of 16.00m.

Another individual who had an impressive performance was Klara Bodinson who placed tenth in the1500 meter run, with a time of 4:41.20.

As a team, the SMU distance medley relay team came in fifth with a time of 11:33.57. Runners on the squad included Sara Sjokvist, Amber Evans, Mary Alenbratt and Kristine Eikrem-Engeset.

SMU will return to action on April 15 at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif.
