CHULA VISTA, Calif. (SMU) - SMU stands atop the field following two rounds at the 2011 San Diego Intercollegiate being played at the San Diego Country Club. SMU (724) holds a three-stroke lead over UTA (727) and also leads sixth-ranked San Diego St. (731) and No. 19 San Diego (735).

SMU senior Kelly Kraft (70-69) is tied for the individual lead at the two-day event with San Diego's Alex Ching at 139. Kraft and Ching are followed by SMU's Aaron Stewart who is third at 143 (68-75). Max Buckley stands just outside the top 10, tied for 11th at 146.
