Day One Results 
RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. (SMU) -- The No. 33 SMU men's golf team combined to card a 601 through two rounds of play today, currently sitting in fifth place at the Farms Collegiate Invitational at The Farms Golf Club. Senior Matt Schovee paced the Mustangs with a 2-over par (146).
After a 75 in round one and in 23rd place, Schovee rebounded with a second round 71 to finish the day in a tie for ninth place. Harry Higgs is one stroke behind Schovee, in a tie for 12th, after rounds of 72 and 75.
Along with Schovee and Higgs, the Mustangs other three players were also inside the top 45. Max Buckley is in a tie for 34th at 9-over, while Marc Sambol is two back of his senior teammate and in 39th. Sam Fidone is tied for 45th at 14-over.
Final round action will begin tomorrow at 9:27 a.m. CT.
