Texas Relays Results

AUSTIN, Texas (SMU) - With only five competitors in the field at the 85th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, sophomore Helena Perez and freshman Rayann Chin came away with third-place finishes.

With a toss of 14.93m in the shot put, Perez earned her third-straight top-three finish of the spring. Like the sophomore, Chin also earned her third top-three result of the spring with a throw of 48.66m in the discus.

Senior Ayla Gill had a top-15 showing in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.16m.

Next weekend, SMU will compete in the North Texas and Stanford Invitationals on April 6-7.
