The Owls return seven starters, while losing four, including top goal-scorer Lauren Hughes. Senior Jasmine Isokpunwu was named the preseason co-defensive C-USA player of the year, while Jenny Fichera and Samantha Chaiken join Isokpunwu on the 2016 preseason all-conference team.
