KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (SMU) – The 2017 Invitational at The Ocean Course at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort has been cancelled due to the threat of Hurricane Irma.

SMU will open the 2017-18 campaign on Sept. 24, as the Mustangs host the inaugural Trinity Forest Invitational. The three-day tournament, which runs from Sept. 24-26, will feature 13 of the top NCAA men's golf teams. The event will play at par 71 and features a 7,300 yard track.
