HUMBLE, Texas (SMU) – The SMU men's golf team wrapped up play at the All-American Intercollegiate Sunday. The Mustangs shot even par (288) on day three to finish tied for eighth (-1, 286-289-288—863) with South Alabama in the 18-team field.
Noah Goodwin,
Jackson Markham,
Clancy Waugh and
Daniel Connolly all posted even par 72s on day three.
In his first collegiate tournament, Goodwin finished tied for 28th at 2-under par (72-70-72—214). Fellow freshman
McClure Meissner finished tied for 35th after shooting a three-day 1-under par (69-73-73—215).
Markham finished tied for 44th after shooting even (71-73-72—216) over the three-day tournament, while Waugh climbed two positions on the final day to finish tied for 53rd ( 3, 74-73-72—219).
Connolly finished tied for 84th ( 12, 79-77-72—228).
The Mustangs are back in action on February 26-27 at the Southwestern Invitational in Westlake Village, Calif.
