DALLAS (SMU) – The Mustangs return to the SMU Tennis Complex on Sunday as they face the UTSA Roadrunners in a 2:30 pm matchup. Â

In the midst of a six-game homestand, the Mustangs return to the court after dropping a matchup with the No. 23 LSU Tigers, 6-1.
Jan-Simon Vrbsky and
Tomas Vaise had one of the highlights of the match as they knocked off the 30
th-ranked doubles team in the nation by a convincing score of 6-1.
Roberto Rosales provided the lone Mustang point as he rolled to a 7-5, 6-4 win on court No. 3. The sophomore leads the Mustangs in singles wins during the dual season with seven.

Carles Sarrio is ranked No. 48 in the ITA Singles ranking, a three spot jump from where he started the fall season. Â Sarrio was named American Conference Player of the Week after he beat No. 4 Christian Sigsgaard of Texas, 6-4, 6-0. Sarrio is 6-3 on the season.
-Vrbsky is tied for second on the Mustangs in wins with a 6-4 record including a line one victory.
-Altogether the Mustangs have a 9-2 record from line one in 2019.
-12 different Mustangs have won a singles match during the 2019 campaign.
-At line one doubles, the Mustangs hold a 8-1 record led by the duo of Vrsbky and Vaise who have a 5-1 record.
-SMU has won eight of the 11 doubles points this season.
