SMU women's tennis begins a three-game weekend homestand on Friday as they face Dartmouth at noon from the SMU Tennis Complex.
Last week, the Mustangs made a two-game road trip to Florida dropping a pair of matches to USF and No. 28 UCF.
Senior 
Liza Buss sits at No. 114 in the Oracle/ITA Singles ranking released on Tuesday. In her Tuesday matchup at South Florida, Buss knocked off the nation's 44
th-ranked player in straight sets. Buss has recorded five ranked wins during the 2018-19 season.
Anzhelika Shapovalova has the best singles win percentage on the team, holding a 10-4 spring record including a 6-1 record at line three.
Tiffany Hollebeck and 
Karina Traxler have combined to be the Mustang's most successful doubles pairing. The duo have a team-high eight wins and have dropped just two spring matches.
Dartmouth comes into Dallas on a six-game losing streak. The Big Green are wrapping up a three-game Texas swing most recently losing to Rice and TCU by scores of 6-1. Dartmouth has a win over an American opponent this season as they swept UConn, 7-0, back in January.
Friday will be the first meeting between the two programs.
