DALLAS (SMU)- SMU women's tennis concluded the Red & Blue Challenge with 22 victories out of 26 matches. Seven Mustangs out of the 10-player roster competed in both singles and doubles.

The Mustangs completed day one of the tournament undefeated, winning six doubles matches and seven singles matches. Completed day two with two doubles victories and five singles victories. Jackie Nylander/ Taylor Johnson and Winslow Huth/ Lana Mavor won the doubles titles of their division. They finished day three with three singles victories. Drew Morris and Reka Patel won the singles title in their division.

"The home events over the last two weekends have been filled with improvement for this group," said head coach Jeff Nevolo. This weekend our doubles was sharp with two championships and three finalists.  In singles it was great to win two titles and have three other players competing in the finals of their draws.  We have a challenging slate in front of us and we're excited to get back on the road the next few weeks."

The Mustangs are back in action again Oct. 21 in College Station at the Texas A&M Fall Invitational.
