COLLEGE STATION, Texas (SMU)- SMU women's tennis completed the Texas A&M Fall Invitational with 18 wins over the weekend. The Mustangs competed in both singles and doubles.

The Mustangs competed against Arkansas for three matches and one against Texas A&M in round one of doubles. Hadley Doyle and Cambelle Bouchard defeated Texas A&M's Kayal Gownder and Elise Robbins 7-6 (5). Drew Morris and Taylor Johnson defeated Indianna Spink and Yuhan Liu of Arkansas, 6-2.

They competed against Texas Tech and Rice in round two of doubles. Lana Mavor and Hadley Doyle defeated Texas Tech's Olivia Peet and Camryn Steep 7-6 (5). Jackie Nylander and Taylor Johnson defeated Texas Tech's Metka Komac and Cristina Tiglea 6-2.

In day one singles, they finished with three victories out of the eight matches they played against Texas A&M.

In day two of doubles, the Mustangs competed against Texas A&M, Arkansas and Rice. Drew Morris and Maja Makoric defeated Indianna Spink and Yuhan Liu of Arkansas, 6-1. Hadley Doyle and Lana Mavor defeated Federica Trevisan and Daryan Schwartzman of Rice, 6-2.

They competed against Texas A&M, Arkansas and Rice for day two singles. They finished with a victory over Arkansas as Hadley Doyle defeated Indianna Spink 6-2, 6-2, and two victories over Rice.

In day three of singles, the Mustangs competed against Rice and Texas Tech. They finished day three with five victories out of seven matches.

The Mustangs are back in action again the weekend of Oct. 28 at Columbia, South Carolina for Gamecock Invitational.
