STILLWATER, Okla. (SMU) – SMU's Kennedy Pedigo put together a solid even-par 72 in her second round at the NCAA Stillwater Regional. The Mustang senior jumped 13 spots on the individual leaderboard, playing herself into contention. Entering Wednesday's final round, she is tied for 24^th place and just 4 strokes back from an NCAA Championship qualification spot. There are currently 10 players on non-advancing teams ahead of her with scores between +3 and +6. She will need to jump at least nine of these competitors tomorrow to qualify.
 
No. 17 Baylor pulled away from the field on the team leaderboard, posting a -3 day to go 13 strokes clear. No. 31 Clemson, No. 6 Oklahoma State, and No. 30 Michigan State are all within two strokes, as they battle for the final two team qualification spots.
 
Pedigo shot a seven over 79 in her first round, but battled back with an even 72 today. Starting on the front nine, she made four consecutive pars to begin her second round. She bogeyed five and seven, but parred six, eight, and nine. Two over through nine, Pedigo turned it on for the back. She parred holes 10-13 before birdieing the par 5 14^th. She made three more pars before finishing her round with another birdie on 18. Her -2 back nine could prove pivotal, as the top 25 individual scores are extremely tight.

NCAA Championship Qualification
The top four teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championship, taking place at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona May 20-25. The top two individuals from non-advancing teams at each regional will also advance to the NCAA Championships.
