AUSTIN, Texas (SMU)- SMU women's tennis heads to Austin Saturday at 12 p.m. to take on the No. 1 ranked team in the nation- the Texas Longhorns.
 
The Mustangs are coming off a pair of 4-0 sweeps over Abilene Christian and Incarnate Word to open its 2023 dual-match season.
 
Texas is coming off a 4-0 sweep against North Texas to open its 2023 dual-math season. The Longhorns captured their second-straight NCAA team title in the 2022 season.
 
Saturdays match will mark the third consecutive year in which the Mustangs and Longhorns have engaged in a dual match. The Longhorns hold the lead over the Mustangs, 2-0.
