DALLAS (SMU) - In addition to being named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, Niv Berkovitz has been named to Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News' National Teams of the Week.

The freshman, hailing to the Hilltop from Israel, has scored three goals in just his past two games, two of which were scored in SMU's 3-0 win against Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

Against then-No. 25 FIU on Oct. 8, Berkovitz scored the first goal of the match off of an assist from Hermann Trophy Watch List member Jelldrik Dallmann.

For season totals, the midfielder has scored four goals off of 11 shots on goal and has also garnered one assist.

SMU, now ranked No. 4, (9-1-2, 4-0-1 AAC) has three regular-season conference games left, beginning at Tulsa on Saturday.
