DALLAS – The Dallas Summer Series presented by the Dallas Open concluded its competition at the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex.
SMU was represented by
Adam Neff and
Liam Krall in tournament's singles draw. The two returning seniors both fell in their first-round matchups in two sets in two scores of 6-2. Krall's first opponent, 460th-ranked Aidan Mayo, went on to lose in the tournament final.
Neff and Krall also competed in the week's doubles draw. Krall joined forces with SMU teammate
Callaway Clark, and Neff teamed up with University of Texas' Micah Braswell. Neff and Braswell advanced to the semifinals before being bounced in two sets (4-6, 5-7) to eventual runner-ups Matt Hulme and Franco Ribero.

Louis Cloud and Florida State transfer
Maks Silagy also competed in the doubles draw, falling in their first-round matchup versus the one-seeded pair of #216 Alfredo Perez and #215 Ezekiel Clark in two sets with scores 3-6 and 6-7.
Former SMU star
Pranav Kumar ran doubles with Dallas native No. 285 Mitchell Krueger. The duo won their first match in two sets (7-6, 7-6), then lost to the eventual champions No. 316 George Goldhoff and No. 512 Tyler Zink in the quarterfinals.
The Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex will also host the Women's Dallas Summer Series later this month.
