DALLAS (SMU) – SMU men's tennis Head Coach Grant Chen announced senior Adam Neff and graduate senior Huntley Allen as team captains for the upcoming season.

"I am thrilled to announce our captains this season will be Adam Neff and Huntley Allen," said Head Coach Grant Chen. "Both young men have been staple figures in the program and have always put team needs in front of their own."

Neff, the reigning AAC Player of the Year, enters his second consecutive season as captain. The Bradenton, Florida, native was also an AAC All-Conference Singles and Doubles selection in 2023, and was named AAC Player of the Week on Mar. 21.

This will be Neff's third season with the Mustangs after transferring from North Carolina.

Allen spent 2018-22 with SMU, and returns to the program to utilize his remaining eligibility. He posted an 18-7 overall doubles and 8-6 singles record in his last season with the Mustangs.

Neff was named to the SMU Honor Roll and CSC All-District Academic Team in 2023. Allen earned AAC All-Academic Team honors in 2022.
