DALLAS (SMU) – No. 20 SMU Men's Soccer will travel to Louisville for the regular season finale on Friday.
The Mustangs are 3-2-2 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. They are tied for fifth with four other teams in the ACC standings, with 11 points heading into the final ACC matchday.
Mustangs vs. Cardinals
- This match will be the third meeting between the Mustangs and Cardinals and their first meeting in Louisville.
- This will be the first meeting between the two teams in over a decade. SMU won their previous meeting 2-1 in 2013 in Dallas.
- The series is tied 1-1 between SMU and Louisville.
Last Time At Washburne Stadium
- No. 21 SMU Men's Soccer won 3-0 over Wake Forest on Senior Night at Washburne Stadium, Friday.
- Bailey Sparks, Enzo Panozzo and Kyran Chambron Pinho scored in the shutout win. Nikola Djordjevic made his fifth assist of the season on Panozzo's goal and drew the penalty kick on Sparks' goal.
- Martin Dominguez saved a penalty in the 74th minute and earned his fourth career clean sheet.
- The Mustangs are now 3-2-2 in the ACC, heading into their final regular season match at Louisville on Nov. 1.
SMU vs Top 25 Opponents
- SMU is 2-2-3 against top-25 opponents after falling at No. 23 NC State on Saturday.
- No. 23 NC State was SMU's seventh top-25 opponent this season. This is the most number of ranked opponents the Mustangs have faced in a single season under Kevin Hudson.

- Chambron Pinho has five goals and three assists. He has a total of six goal contributions just behind Bailey Sparks.

Sparks Fly
- Bailey Sparks leads SMU this season with 12 goal contributions in 15 matches (six goals and six assists).
- He is fifth in the ACC with six assists.
- Sparks made three goal contributions on the Mustangs' 3-2 win over UTRGV. It was the first time he made more than two goal contributions in a single match for SMU. Â
