DALLAS (SMU) – No. 15 SMU Men's Soccer will host Boston College to begin its first Atlantic Coast Conference Championships, Wednesday.
The Mustangs will enter the tournament as the fourth seed after ending its inaugural ACC regular season with a 4-2-2 conference record and 14 points. Boston College was seeded no. 13.
Mustangs vs. Eagles
- This match will be the fourth meeting between the Mustangs and Eagles and their first meeting in Dallas.
- The Mustangs and Eagles' second meeting was in the 2002 NCAA Tournament. No. 6 Boston College advanced on penalty kicks.
- Their previous meeting was in 2015 when the Mustangs fell 4-3 in Boston. The match was Kevin Hudon's first road match as a head coach.
