DALLAS (SMU) – SMU Men's Soccer will face another top 10 opponent as they host no. 6 Denver at 6 p.m. CT, Sunday.

The Mustangs are coming off a 1-0 over no. 6 Saint Louis where Jaylinn Mitchell scored his first goal of the season to win the match.

Mustangs vs. Pioneers

This matchup will be the ninth meeting between the Mustangs and the Pioneers. SMU leads the series 5-2-1 and 2-1-1 at home.
The Mustangs ended the Pioneers' 2023 season with a 2-1 win in the second round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament, where Bailey Sparks scored the opener.
The all-time scoreline between the Mustangs and Pioneers is 17-8. The Mustangs have outscored the Pioneers 13-4 all-time in Dallas.
They have met twice in the NCAA Tournament.

No. 6 SMU advanced to the round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament with a 2-1 win over the Pioneers.

Kyran Chambron Pinho returns to the starting lineup after missing the season's first two matches.
Chambron Pinho led the Mustangs with four shots and was the main creator for Mitchell's match-winner.
The Mustangs dominated No. 6 Saint Louis by outshooting them 13 to three.
