Rose was one of 21 players named to Canada's roster and is the first Mustang to make any team Canada roster since former midfielder
Wayny Balata was named to the Canadian Concacaf provisional roster in 2020.
The Markham, Ontario native had a strong start to the 2024 season, scoring a goal in both of SMU's first two matches. She netted her first goal of the year in a 3-0 victory in the season opener against Northwestern State and followed that performance by scoring again in the team's 6-0 win over Texas Southern.
On Aug. 15, Rose was named to the 2024 Hermann Trophy Watch List, which is the nation's highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year. She was among 44 players named to the watch list and one of only three sophomores to receive the honor.
